Prime Minister welcomes Riyadh and Washington’s efforts to achieve peace in Sudan

Prime Minister Dr. Kamel Idris welcomed the efforts and initiatives undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America to achieve a just and sustainable peace in Sudan.
In a statement on Thursday, Idris expressed his gratitude for their ongoing efforts since the outbreak of the war to halt the fighting and work toward restoring peace in Sudan.
He said, “Since this war was imposed on the Sudanese people, the Prime Minister affirms his full readiness to engage seriously with them in order to achieve peace, security, stability, and prosperity for the Sudanese people.”
