The RSF renewed attacks Friday on the 22nd Infantry Division headquarters of the Sudanese army in Babnusa, West Kordofan, according to local sources.
Military sources told Sudan Tribune that the RSF launched its fiercest assault on army positions around the 22nd Infantry Division and 89th Brigade in Babnusa.
The army repelled the attacks, forcing the RSF to retreat using heavy artillery, while army drones targeted RSF positions in the western, northern, and southern parts of the city.
Meanwhile, the RSF intensified artillery bombardment and deployed suicide drones in aggressive attacks on the 22nd Infantry Division and other positions. Sources confirmed that the RSF extensively used FPV-type suicide drones, the same as those deployed in Al-Fashir before its capture.
