United Nations: 104 Killed in Attacks in Kordofan

The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights reported on Tuesday that at least 104 people, including 43 children, have been killed in drone attacks in the Kordofan region since December 4.

Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militias targeted a kindergarten in the Kalugi area of South Kordofan with drones.

According to Reuters, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk expressed deep concern over the escalation of fighting, noting clashes between the army, the RSF, and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement–North led by Abdel Aziz Al-Hilu.

The commission stated that airstrikes have hit hospitals, kindergartens, and a United Nations base.
