Sudanese Private Sector Seeks to Strengthen Partnerships with Egyptian Counterpart

The Chairman of the Sudanese Businessmen and Employers Federation, Moawia Mohamed Ahmed Al-Bareer, accompanied by his deputy Ali Salah, head of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, and Abdel Salam Mohamed Khair Al-Qadi, Director General of the Federation, paid a visit to the headquarters of the General Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce.
The Sudanese delegation was received by Ahmed El-Wakil, Chairman of the General Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, Mohamed El-Masry, a member of the Federation’s Board of Directors, and Osama Basha, the Federation’s Secretary-General.
The meeting reviewed the shared economic history between Sudan and Egypt and underscored the importance of strengthening relations between the Sudanese and Egyptian private sectors, as well as expanding bilateral partnerships.
Both the Sudanese Businessmen and Employers Federation and the General Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce affirmed their readiness to work together on reconstruction efforts in Sudan, particularly in areas declared liberated by the Sudanese Armed Forces.
