Mineral Resources Authority Discusses Explosives Needs of Mining Companies

The Director General of the Sudanese Company for Mineral Resources, Mohamed Taher Omar, held talks with the Inspector General of the Explosives Corps, Major General (Staff) Dr. Nadeem Hamed Tabri, on the requirements of mining companies for explosive materials. The meeting was attended by the Director of the General Administration for Supervision and Oversight of Production Companies, Engineer Hassan Al-Safi, and the Head of the Committee for Supplying Companies with Explosives, Engineer Khaled Eid.
Omar stressed the importance of ensuring stability at mining sites and intensifying efforts, noting that the current phase the country is going through cannot tolerate any disruption to production activities. He also praised the significant efforts exerted by the Explosives Corps and the high level of coordination among relevant authorities to facilitate procedures.
For his part, Major General (Staff) Dr. Nadeem Hamed Tabri revealed that there are clear directives and close monitoring of companies’ activities at production sites, affirming that operations are proceeding in accordance with approved plans to ensure uninterrupted production.
