Masad Boulos, Adviser to the U.S. President for Arab and African Affairs, said that Washington will continue its efforts to achieve a humanitarian truce in Sudan.
Boulos met with Norway’s State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Andreas Kravik, and Norway’s Ambassador to Washington, Anniken Huitfeldt.
In a post on his account on the “X” platform, Boulos said: “We held a productive meeting and are building on the momentum launched by the Sudan Humanitarian Fund Call to Action event, with the aim of reaching a humanitarian truce.” He stressed that the joint efforts seek to ensure a transition toward inclusive governance led by civilian forces in Sudan.
