Appointment of Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei as Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Iran’s Assembly of Experts has announced the appointment of Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei as the country’s leader. The Tasnim News Agency reported that the Assembly, by an overwhelming majority vote, introduced Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei as the third leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
