Al-Hilal snatched a valuable victory from its rival, Al-Nasr, with a score of 3-0 in the match that took place this Friday evening at King Fahd Sports City Stadium at the top of the 15th round of the Saudi Professional League.
Al Hilal’s hat-trick was scored by Serbian Sergei Savic and his compatriot Aleksandar Mitrovic in the 64th, 90th and 90+2 minutes, respectively.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored against Yacine Bounou in the 73rd minute, but the referee disallowed the goal due to offside.
Ali Al Balihi, Al Hilal’s defender, was sent off in stoppage time of the second half, so the blue team finished the match incomplete.
Al-Hilal moved away from the top of the Saudi League standings with 41 points, a full 7 points behind Al-Nasr, its closest rival.
Al-Hilal broke a streak of 20 matches for Al-Nassr without defeat in all tournaments, since the loss at the hands of Al-Taawoun in the second round of the league, last August.
