Army: RSF militia destroys Al-Gaili Refinery

The Sudanese Armed Forces on Saturday announced that the Rapid Support Militia attacked the Al-Gaili Refinery and destroyed the remaining warehouses.
The statement indicated that this was the second attack by the militia on the refinery during this month, which denotes its systematic targeting to destroy and sabotage the country’s capabilities and vital facilities.
“The armed forces condemn in the strongest terms this criminal behaviour that proves that the militia’s war is against the people of Sudan and against the country’s national assets and asserts the necessity of classifying the militia a terrorist organization by regional and international organization” the army statement stressed
It recalled that the “the Dagalo militia partially destroyed some of the facilities of the refinery on the 6th of December, 2023.”
