The Director of the office of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company Limited (SMRC), in the northern state, Abdul Rahman Al-Nadeef, announced overcoming the obstacles facing companies operating in the mining sector in the state, and supporting those working in the mining markets, to increase production and preserve the country’s resources.
Al-Nadeef explained during his meeting with representatives of companies operating in the state and committees of Miners, Goldsmiths Division, and Mills Division (Saturday) that the coming period will witness more development and production control operations, pointing to efforts to enclose mining markets in coordination with companies and executive bodies in the state’s localities.
He also stressed the need to adhere to environmental requirements and adopting safety measures.
In another context, environmental sanitation campaigns continue for the third day consecutively in mining markets in Dalgo locality in coordination with local and relevant authorities, under the supervision of the Environment and Safety Department in the Northern State Office, as the campaign aims to transport waste from mining areas and remove environmental discrepancies.
