Federal Health: $60 million is needed to provide medicine

The Acting Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Muhammad Ibrahim, revealed the need for an amount of $60 million to provide the drug supply until the end of this year, calling for providing support to the Ministry through its various departments.
During his presidency of the meeting with national and international organizations in the hall of the Ministry of Health in Gezira State, Ibrahim called on the organizations to reopen their offices in the states, pointing out that some of them contributed to medical operations after coordination with them, especially in Khartoum and the states of Darfur.
The attendees assured that work and coordination would continue, the preparation of a solid plan of action, and the readiness to fill the gaps.
