New Changes in Exchange Rate of Sudanese pound
Sudan Events – Rehab Abdullah
The exchange rate of the Sudanese pound declined against currencies, again, in parallel market trading today (Saturday) in a number of Sudanese cities. This includes Atbara, Shendi and Port Sudan, after the slight improvement that occurred after the Central Bank took measures to maintain the stability of the exchange rate.
Traders in the parallel market told (Sudan Event) that the price of the dollar rose again to reach 840 pounds, while the price of the Saudi riyal rose to 220 pounds, and the price of the UAE dirham recorded 228 pounds. On the other hand, the price of the euro reached 900 pounds, at a time when the price of the Qatari riyal recorded 230 pounds.
Some traders attributed the rise to increased demand with scarce supply.
