For the second day in a row, the Rapid Support militia attacks the city of El Obeid and kills civilians

Local residents in the city of El Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan State, informed “Sudan Events” on Monday morning of a renewed attack by the Rapid Support militia forces on the city, as the Sudanese Armed Forces – the Haganah Unit – are dealing with the attack, which targets the city from several axes.

The attack has so far caused the death of a number of civilians who have been transferred to private and government hospitals, which suffer from a scarcity of aids, most notably the lack of virus testing kits for blood donors. This has made it difficult for many of those injured by shells fired by the rebel forces to obtain the blood required to save their lives, especially in “Alhawadith” Hospital in El Obeid. Citizens called on the Federal Ministry of Health to intervene and provide support to complete the hospital’s shortcomings.
