Medicines and medical consumables from WHO for North Darfur

Acting Director-General of the Ministry of Health in North Darfur, Ahmed Mohamed Al-Douma, received quantities of medicines and medical consumables at the World Health Organization headquarters in El Fasher.
Al-Douma said in a statement today, Wednesday, that the grant consists of rapid examination strips and malaria medications within the framework of coordination and cooperation between the ministry and its partner organizations working in the health sector.
He noted that the quantities will contribute to solving part of the distress resulting from the scarcity of medicines and some medical consumables in exchange for the significant increase in cases of malaria, dengue fever, and other diseases.
