Sudanese Minister of Finance requests President of the World Bank

The Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Dr. Jibril Ibrahim, demanded the President of the World Bank, Ajay Banga, on the sidelines of the IMF and World Bank meetings currently being held in the Moroccan city of Marrakesh, supporting Sudan according to the current situation.
Ibrahim said that it is important to find out ways to support countries in war.
He pointed out understands the complicated position of the World Bank’s work towards conflict areas, but “Victims do not wait.” He added.
The Minister congratulated President of the World Bank on his election to head the Bank Group and the success in its management.
In this context, Banga praised the Minister of Finance and said that they in the World Bank Group are striving to help all member states of the Bank.
