Important Decisions of the Egyptian National Security Council

Egyptian President Abdul Fatah Al Sesi headed today, Sunday, 15 October, the meeting of the National Security Council reviewing the regional and international developments, particularly following the military escalation in the Gaza Strip.
The meeting came out with these decisions:
– continuing contacts with the regional and international partners to reduce escalation and stop targeting civilians.
– Contact the regional and international relief organizations to provide the required aid.
– The Palestine Case is solved only by the resolution of the two states, the rejection of the displacement policy, and the neglect of the Palestinian Case without considering the neighbouring countries.
– Making clear that Egypt will deploy enormous efforts to launch and resume an actual peace operation.
– Confirming that Egypt is fiercely keen about its national security.
– Egypt invited all concerned parties to organize an international and regional summit to discuss the developments of the Palestinian Case.
