Increase in Fees for Gedarif Crop Markets

The Gedarif Crop Markets Administration revealed a new increase in the prices of market services, while indicating that the increase is taking place in consultation with farmers and merchants.

Mohamed Othman Al-Khalifa, Director of Gedarif Crop Markets, explained that his administration is working to submit and approve the farmers’ fees collection law. He noted that the first meeting to consult on the fees was held Yesterday, Wednesday, in order to reach a final formula regarding the new fees. He also stressed that the fee would be appropriate.

Khalifa expected the markets to achieve a high revenue season based on productivity. The director of Gedarif crops revealed that his administration had received requests from large numbers of companies to engage in trading and buying and selling operations, including companies from the capital, Khartoum.
