New Warnings About the Dangers of Renaissance Dam

Ahmed Al-Mufti, a resigned member of the International Committee for the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, confirmed the danger of completing the fourth filling of the Renaissance Dam to Sudan.

In his interview with (Sudan Events), he said the filling has very, very great danger. He attributed this to the fact that it is owned by Ethiopia and considered it a water bomb that would make Ethiopia control Sudan and Egypt.

The dam storage has become about 40 billion cubic metres, and the Roseires reservoir has a maximum capacity of 7.5 billion cubic metres.
