Nigeria Discusses Sudan Crisis in Roundtable Conference

The Center of Strategic Research and Studies (CSRS) in Abuja, Nigeria, has organized a roundtable conference aiming at discussing the Sudanese crisis
The conference deliberated the political and economic consequences which resulted from the war erupted between the Sudanese Army and the Rapid Support Forces militia.
The conference which was participated by representatives from ministries, public agencies, international NGOs and civil society organizations came out with a unified vision towards solving the crisis.
The conferees expressed grave concern on the escalation of the crisis which might lead to disastrous impacts including the flow of arms, illegal migration, and criminal through the Nigerian borders.
The conference concluded its sessions by issuing several recommendations on top of which is the necessity of engaging the AU besides Nigeria in the process.
