AUIEC names Sudan as a member

The General Assembly of the Arab Federation for International Exhibitions and Conferences elected Dr. Al-Fateh Awad, Director General of the Sudanese Free Zones and Duty Free Shops Company, and Salah Omar Al-Sheikh, Head of the Sudanese Exhibitions Division and Director-General of Sodexpo, for membership in the Federation’s Board of Directors.
This came within the activities of the Federation’s third ordinary general assembly meeting, which was held in Cairo, Thursday.

The General Assembly elected Sheikh, Jabr bin Youssef Al Thani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Qatar Expo Company, as Chairperson of the Federation, and appointed Ahmed Al-Deeb as Secretary-General of the Federation.
The session was distinguished by the participation of 52 members, most of whom were from the first founding generation of the Union, representing government institutions and exhibition and conference organizing and service companies from fifteen Arab countries.
