Most of South Darfur Hospitals Are Out of Service

Acting Governor of South Darfur, Hamid Al-Tijani Hanoon, had chaired the enlightenment meeting of the Crisis Management Higher Committee in Darfur States.

The meeting, which took place in Port Sudan discussed the humanitarian and health situations in South Darfur and the displacement influx to the neighboring localities and states in East and North Darfur, besides the damage of the public facilities especially the hospitals which most of it are now out of service.

The meeting listened to the report of Darfur Region government delegation on its recent visit to Kenya to provide more humanitarian assistance from the concerned international organizations to Darfur Region besides the assessment of the joint forces efforts.
