Jeddah Negotiations to Resume Thursday

Asharaq Alawsat reported from informed sources that the Saudi/American mediation determined next Thursday as a date for the resumption of the negotiations between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces in Jeddah Forum.
The sources pointed out that the Saudi/American mediation affirmed that the negotiations will be in three levels – the humanitarian and separating the political from the military and security dossier.
According to the invitation letter the priority will be bringing an end to the sufferings of Sudanese people, access of the humanitarian assistance without obstacles, ceasefire, confidence-building measures between the two parties.
The sources said that the Us ambassador Daniel Robenstin will replace Ambassador John Goodfery in leading the US delegation to the negotiations.
Last week typical sources revealed consultation with the Sudanese Army and the RSF to resume Jeddah negotiations adding that the mediation will adapt a new approach for the negotiations process between the two parties to stop the war.
