Sudanese Political Bloc: Addis Ababa meetings will not stop the war

The Freedom and Change Democratic Bloc (FFC) said that the Civil Front meetings in Addis Ababa will not stop the war.

The leader of the Democratic Bloc, Mubarak Erdoul, said: “The meeting held in Addis Ababa is like the following equation (FFC- Baath (another political party) + Hamdok = Civil Front) that will not stop a war and will not bring about a democratic transformation.”

He added: “All of this group had the opportunity to proceed with the democratic transformation and spare the country from sliding into war, with effort and a simple concession, while they were in power and inside Sudan.”

He continued: “But it wasted the opportunity with deceit, fanaticism, and self-defense, so it is now seeking it while it is out of power and out of Sudan. What a difficult task, as many facts have changed on the ground since the last meeting that brought this group together.”
