Khartoum State Government Recognizes Obstacles in Health Insurance

Acting Governor of Khartoum State, Ahmed Osman Hamza has admitted the existence of obstacles in health insurance and the accumulation of debts a matter that had its impact in providing the services to the insured citizens، emphasizing the importance of urgent action to provide primary health care and medicine through the insurance card.
He directed the extension of the validity of insurance cards.
Hamza added, during his meeting with the Ministry of Health General Manager, Dr. Mahmoud Alqaim, that the State will take urgent measures to provide storage of medicines to be given to the citizens through the health card in the pharmacies and primary health centers.
