Sudan chooses Benina Stadium and addresses FIFA and CAF

Today, Thursday, the Sudanese Football Association chose the Benina Martyrs Stadium – Libya, to host its matches against Togo and Congo on November 13 and 17, 2023 in the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup finals.
Sudan has officially addressed the (FIFA) and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) designate Benina Martyrs Stadium in Libyan city of Benghazi as the venue for its matches followed the deadline to end today, Thursday.
Chairperson of the Sudanese Federation, Moatasem Jaafar, was forced to chose the second option and address his counterpart in Libyan Federation, Abdul Karim Al-Shalmani, after the unapproved Egyptian Federation .
