Sudan Events – Sumaya Sayed
Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) announced the opening of a new hospital in the new Ourang camp for Sudanese refugees in eastern Chad, reporting that refugees there suffer from a lack of adequate housing, food and drinking water and lack of health care.
On the other hand, Darfur Women’s Forum pointed to the increase in domestic violence, and the emergence of children begging in the markets of villages adjacent to the camps.
