Governor of Darfur Announces Receiving of Food and Medicine Shipments

Governor of Darfur region western Sudan Mini Arko Minawi announced on Monday that they had received 74 trucks loaded with food and medicine, and Minawi thanked “the donor countries, led by Saudi Arabia.”

In a tweet on the X website, Minawi expressed support to his forces there, saying: “We also appeal to the joint forces in Darfur, where they operate in extremely harsh conditions.”

The Darfur region has witnessed severe violations since the beginning of the war between the government army and the rebel Rapid Support militia in mid-April.
