Wydad Eliminates Esperance and Qualifies for the African League Final

Wydad Casablanca of Morocco secured the qualification ticket to the final match of the African League Championship, by defeating Esperance of Tunisia, today, Wednesday, on penalties, with a score of (5-4) at the Hammadi Al-Aqrabi Stadium in Brades, in the second leg of the semi-finals of the competition.
The regular time of the match had ended with Esperance winning (1-0), scored by Brazilian Rodrigo Rodriguez in the 66th minute.
Wydad won the first leg in Morocco (1-0), and a penalty shootout decided the qualification of the Moroccan team, which awaits the winner of the match between Al-Ahly and Sun Downs tonight.
