Operating a passenger line between the port of Osif and the Egyptian port of Safaga

Director General of the Ports Authority, Mohamed Hassan Mukhtar, announced the approval of the Egyptian port authorities to operate a passenger line between the port of Osif and the Egyptian port of Safaga.
He revealed in a press statement (Friday) that they are seeking with the Chinese to build an integrated pier where passenger ships can dock without advance payment.
Mukhtar expected that they would find approval from the Jordanian authorities to operate flights between the port of Osif and the Jordanian port of Aqaba, and added: “We will contact the Jordanian side.”
