Agreement to Implement 8 Water Stations in Gedaref

Gedaref state government signed a contract (Tuesday) in the government secretariat buildings with the Al-Ishraq Organization for Development and Reconstruction to construct 8 water stations operating on a solar energy system in many localities in the state.

Acting governor of Gedaref Mohamed Abdul Rahman, praised Al-Ishraq Organization for its great contributions in implementing many projects in the field of water and health in the previous period, calling on them to continue implementing more projects and activities in all fields.

Director General of the Al-Ishraq Organization for Development and Reconstruction, Adam Ali Hamid, explained that the water stations that will be implemented will come with funding from the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Work, indicating the organization’s intention to implement many programs that aim to serve those arriving from Khartoum State due to the war, the most prominent of which is the distribution of quantities of dates. This is in addition to distributing shelter bags for 300,000 people affected by the Khartoum war throughout Sudan.
