Sudanese Marine Lines Announces Entry of two passengers ships

The acting General Director of the Sudanese Marine Lines Company, Captain Ahmed Hassan Qarin, revealed that the partnership with the Sea Ports Authority had been decided categorically after the meeting held at the Sea Ports Authority, which resulted in the urgent entry into purchasing two passenger ships that would begin operating before Ramadan and would directly enter into transporting pilgrims, according to the lines company’s media. The Sudanese Navy, a mechanism has been formed to establish the administrative and legal frameworks for this partnership. “We have already begun to obtain offers for ships that are in full technical readiness, meet all safety requirements and have a high carrying capacity,” He added.

He affirmed that the partnership is scheduled to graduate to owning passenger ships. On the other hand, the marine lines are seeking to announce the establishment of the Sudan Line Fishing and Tourism Company and to establish a naval arsenal that will serve the future goals of this major project.
