Governor of Khartoum Affirms Resumption of Prosecution and Courts

Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza, inaugurated on Sunday the resumption of the work of the Public Prosecution in Karari locality, in the presence of Mohamed Rashid, senior prosecutor in Karari locality, and Abu Zaid Hassan, the first deputy prosecutor, after a decision was issued by the Attorney General assigning them to manage the affairs of the Public Prosecution in Karari.
The governor praised the return of the prosecution and said: ” We wait for the return of the courts to complete the justice triangle (police, prosecution, and judiciary) so that the citizen feels reassured about their rights and the completion of his criminal and civil procedures.
For his part, the Supreme Prosecutor, Mohamed Rashid, explained that citizens came to the prosecution headquarters in the early hours of the start of work today, which confirms that the citizen needs the prosecution’s services and relied on them in light of what happened to them during the days of war, stressing that the doors of the prosecution are open to everyone.
He added that the prosecution will carry out its field tasks by inspecting police stations, examining reports, and taking necessary actions.
