Sun Downs Wins The First Edition of The African League

South African club Sun Downs won the first edition of the African Super League, winning at its home stadium in Pretoria with a score of 0-0 at the expense of Wydad Casablanca of Morocco.
Sun Downs and Morocco’s Wydad played on Sunday at Loftus Versfeld Stadium, as part of the second leg of the African Super League final.
Player Peter Shalulile scored the home team’s first goal in the third minute of stoppage time in the first half. While Sun Downs’ second goal was scored by Aubrey Modiba, taking advantage of an incorrect pass in the 52nd minute of the second half.
Wydad had defeated Sun Downs, two goals to one, in the first leg that brought them together at the Mohammed V Complex Stadium in Casablanca, bringing the total of the two matches to a victory for Sun Downs with a score of (3-2).
