Discussions to Develop the Civil Service in Sudan

The Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Dr. Jibril Ibrahim, discussed during his meeting with the Minister of Labor and Administrative Reform Ahmed Ali Abdulrahman, how to develop the civil service, enhance compliance with controls and laws, adherence to the legal age for compulsory pension, providing job opportunities for youth people at the entrances to the civil service, and the benefits of civil service workers in the state.
The meeting discussed arrangements related to transferring ministries to some states, and reviewed the necessary methods and procedures for steering the work system in those states. These efforts come within the framework of the Ministry’s vision to enhance the government’s ongoing efforts to achieve sustainable development and economic growth, and it is expected that the Federal government’s experience in transferring some ministries to the states will contribute to revive the labor market and develop the civil service in those states.
