The seriousness of the outbreak of war caused it to lose the required balance and led to the exit of most factories from the production circle, which prompted everyone to line up, along with the Minister in charge of finance and production in the Nile River State and the Minister in charge of Livestock and Investment Management in the state, to facilitate the work of the office of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, which was delegated by the Ministry of Commerce to do everything Concerning imports and exports from the state, issuing certificates including preferential certificates of origin (COMESA, Arab, European Union, Indian and Chinese), non-preferential certificates for the rest of the other countries, and extracting records for individuals, partnerships, companies and cooperative societies for the purposes of export and import of all types and purposes. And to remove all obstacles that would hinder the establishment of an office for the Ministry of Commerce in the state so that the office can carry out the work entrusted to it, in order to open all investment horizons and the establishment of multiple industries in export and import, for the various agricultural and animal resources that the state abounds with, and the establishment of various industries (converting, extractive, and service) with its imports and exports, which reflects positively on the desired economic renaissance of the state, which is followed by the renaissance of the state’s people in all the services provided to it, so that the state has its main effective and influential role on the overall economy of Sudan. Muqallad pointed out the necessity of finding effective solutions to launch the office of the Ministry of Commerce with its full strength and address the weakness.
The work of the land port and the need to activate it to attract containers escaping to the states, indicating in a statement to (Sudan Events) the efforts of the Ministry of Livestock to populate the health square in the state and to activate the work of the Tala Kabushieh slaughterhouse for exporting frozen carcasses, with the seriousness of work on the readiness of the Standards and Metrology Authority, and the endeavor to establish the necessary specialized laboratories for exports and imports with The importance of having an international surveyor in the state for the export of strategic goods, pointing out the main role of the banking system with regard to exports and imports. At the same time, there is coordination for issuing membership for exporters and the Federal Chamber of Commerce between the Atbara Chamber of Commerce, the Exporters Union, and the Executive Office of the Federal Chamber.
He added that there is still a lot that awaits everyone in order to advance the economic, investment, industrial, agricultural, commercial and pastoral renaissance of this state.
