Thierry Henry, coach of the French youth national team, praised Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe, the captain of the Roosters.
“What Mbappe is doing is nonsense, because he has made us accustomed to these amazing achievements,” Henry said in statements highlighted by L’Equipe.
He added, “Although Kylian is not a spearhead, he is present everywhere, although he is not a natural scorer, he scores and creates goals, and is good at almost everything.”
He continued, “But the problem is, when you are a very special player, people only pay attention to what you lack, or you failed in, or do not perform well.”
He also pointed out, “He played in two World Cup finals, scored a hat-trick in the last final, and scored 300 goals in his career. These are extraordinary achievements.”
