Sudan Events – Nahed Oshi
Sugar commodity witnessed a noticeable scarcity in private stores in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, as part of the general increase in prices of basic commodities.
A kilo of sugar reached (54) pounds and (48) pounds for (90) milligrams, amid expectations that the crisis of rising free sugar prices will end within a week, as new quantities of imported raw sugar are scheduled to be received by local refinery factories.
At the same time, the prices of eggs and chickens have soared in the markets because of an increase in the prices of feeding fodder, amid expectations of increases that may occur in the prices of chickens shortly, especially with advent of winter season.
