Expectations of Sesame Prices Rise

The highest price of a quintal of sesame crop in trading on the Gedaref Auction Stock Exchange today (Sunday) reached 76 thousand pounds, while the lowest price reached 65 thousand pounds per quintal.
The volume supplied into the market, according to the daily trading bulletin, reached 18,250 bags.
Sesame traders expected prices to rise in the coming days.
Mohammed Osman Al-Khalifa, Director General of Crop Markets in Gedaref, explained that his administration worked to prepare services and provide all necessary needs in the structure of internal markets to achieve the required efficiency in crop marketing services, in addition to adopting a single window system for all transactions in the market, pointing to the efforts of the state government and the Ministry of Finance in creating a shift in trading in buying and selling cropsoperations, appreciating the efforts of producers and traders in supplying the national and local economy with products that bring economic returns to the country whose effects are reflected in services locally and nationally.
