The Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, Ahlam Maeani Sabeel, stressed the need to pay attention to promoting the free zone in the city of Dokah after choosing the state of Gedaref as the headquarters for launching the work of her ministry. She directed the establishment of a public joint stock company to be a model for the rest of the states through approved and proposed projects, which she considered.
During her meeting (Thursday) with the Director-General of the Ministry of Finance in Gedaref – Najat Ahmed Mohamed, the Commissioner-General of Investment in the state – Atef Al-Masry, the Secretary-General of Investment in the state -Howaida Fadl, and a number of directors of general departments in the Commission and the Federal Ministry,
It requires additional effort during this period that the country is going through in these exceptional circumstances.
The Minister confirmed that Gedaref State is characterized by many comparative advantages and achieves investment goals, and stressed the role of the General Investment Commission in promoting the advancement of investment in the state.
