Medeama turns the table on CS Belouizdad

Ghana’s Medeama came from behind with a goal to win (2-1) over its guest, Chabab Belouizdad of Algeria, at the Park Stadium today, Friday, in the second round of Group D in the African Champions League.
CR Belouizdad took the lead in the 39th minute through Raouf Ben Ghit’s penalty kick, before Daniel Lomiti equalized for the Ghanaian team, and in the fourth minute of stoppage time, Mamadou scored the immediate goal for Medeama.
Medeama got the first 3 points in its tournament, after losing in the first round to Al-Ahly of Egypt, the defending champion, by three clean points, while CS Belouizdad’s balance froze at 3 points after it won in the first round against Young Africans of Tanzania with the same result.
