UNESCO Check Sudan’s Heritage Sites

These are the first words of the UNESCO constitution.
There is work to be done. There are many lessons to be learned from Sudan’s rich cultural heritage. This is why we are working on two fronts to ensure during these uncertain times that this history is preserved along with the lessons that we need to guide us in building the defenses of peace in the minds of men and women.
UNESCO experts are checking on Sudan’s heritage sites and where its necessary steps will be taken to ensure their security as best as we can.

It is worth noting that UNESCO Sites in Sudan have resulted from the recognition of 3 cultural and natural landmarks as UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Sudan and 15 locations on the Sudan UNESCO tentative list. These touristic sites in Sudan are acknowledged for their unique and valuable cultural, natural, artistic, and historical significance and are preserved for future generations.
In addition to these 3 sites in the Sudan UNESCO list, there are many other places to travel to Sudan that are being considered for UNESCO recognition. These sites, listed on the tentative list, showcase the country’s rich cultural heritage and are waiting for approval to join the prestigious and famous World Heritage Sites list.
