The head of Al Nahdaa Association in Al- Suki Agricultural Project in Gemmayzeh village, Osman Musa Adam Mohammad, has revealed that farmers have launched the process for paying the money spent to purchase fertilizers for the scheme.
He explained in press statement that farmers who received loan to purchase fertilizers are now paying back their due debts to the bank
Osman commended the farmer’s role and keenness to come forward on their own to repay the debts.
He said the bank is providing incentive at the rate of five thousand pounds’ surplus on the tag of the prices in the market for any farmer that comes forwards to repay his debts. He said this offer is valid for one full month.
Head of the initiative to rehabilitate Al – Suki project, Engineer Omar agreed with Osman’s statements, adding that the issue of repaying debts of the Agricultural Bank for them is a matter of life or death and there is no complacency, as the Agricultural Bank of Sinar has come out after 13 years to provide funds for the associations of the Al-Suki project.
He added that they benefited from this financing, and that the sustainability of this cooperation depends on the regular repayment of debts received.
