Minerals: Opening Gold Trading Market

The Director General of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company Limited, Mohammed Taher Omer, has stressed the need for accelerating the procedures for opening the gold trading market in Gadarif State.
He said it was also imperative to monitor the large mining wells and starting procedures to develop them into organized small mines, so as to maximize revenues and control the product.
He directed the management of the company’s office in Gadarif State to address all the problems facing companies working in the field of Karta (mining residues) and to enable them resume work as soon as possible.
