The Sudanese Minister of Trade and Supply, Al-Fatih Abdullah Yousif, announced the issuance of new control measures for imports and exports, which will be implemented early next year, 2024.
In an exclusive interview with Sudan Events, the Minister of Trade revealed an amendment to the register of Sudanese exporters and importers and the establishment of new controls, particularly in payment methods, in addition to some procedures that govern export and import operations, in particular those related to payment methods.
He revealed that the entry of goods and in large quantities caused a significant increase in the volume of imports and dumping the market.
He attributed this to the entry of goods without import procedures supposed to in exporters and importers register in addition to an invoice approved by the ministry and the submission of IM Form from the bank.
