Ahly to Saudi Arabia for FIFA Club World Cup

The delegation of the Egyptian Al-Ahly Club departed today, Monday for Saudi Arabia on a private plane, in order to participate in the Club World Cup, which will be held during the period from 12 to 22 December this year.
Al-Ahly officials decided to take 28 players on the trip to Saudi Arabia, during which the team will compete in the Club World Cup, even though the list that will participate in the tournament includes only 23 players.
The Egyptian team is preparing to travel from Saudi Arabia directly to the Emirates to participate in the Egyptian Super Championship, which will be held during the period from 23 to 28 December.
If Al-Ahly wins the match on December 15 with the winner of Al-Ittihad Jeddah and Auckland City in the Club World Cup, Al-Ahly will continue its journey in the Club World Cup by facing Brazilian Fluminense, the Copa champion of theBertadores, in the semi-finals on December 18, and thus it will travel from Saudi Arabia to the Emirates to compete in the Egyptian Super Cup.
As for Al-Ahly losing its first match in the Club World Cup, the team returns to Cairo and then flies two days later to Algeria to face CS Belouizdad in the fourth round of the group stage of the African Champions League, which will be held on December 21.
