Sudan Events – Rehab Abdullah
The Dean of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Sudan, Dr. Abdul-Azim Al-Mahal said the emergency budget for the fiscal 2024 will be financed through two scenarios, the first depends on internal resources and the other depends more on external support, adding that the war is considered a turning point towards action, and he pointed out to the need of specifying a large budget for computerization and fighting corruption.
In an interview with (Sudan Events), Al-Mahal stressed that the emergency budget would be an opportunity to change course, and allocate the largest part of it to education, health, industry, agriculture, and services, and he believed that the steering budget after three months should be directed to these sectors.
