Khartoum Governor Promises to Secure Food Supply

The Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza, affirmed his government’s efforts to secure food for settled families and take measures to ensure the continuation of gas service. During his inspection today, Thursday, of the gas depot, he expressed the state’s readiness to help increase the capacity of the depot to cover the needs of citizens, as a sufficient stock provides gas in nearby locations without the need to transfer pipelines to other states. He demanded the Department of Public Transport and Petroleum and the local authorities, working with neighborhood committees, to create a joint mechanism to meet all requests received from citizens without waiting, and work on to cover all neighborhoods that request gas service.
