Sudan Events – Follow-ups
Two civilians were killed by Rapid Support militia in Al-Hasahaisa in Gezira State – central Sudan, a continuation of the practices of the militia violations in the state.
A week ago, the militia moved the war to the state and attacked Rufa’a and Hantoub area, before storming its capital, Madani, committing many violations and repeating the scenarios it carried out in Khartoum, Darfur, and in every region its forces invaded in Sudan.
The resistance committees in Al-Hasahaisa reported in a statement that Waleed Hassan and Siddiq Hamdan were killed after direct shooting from the Rapid Support Forces
The committees condemned the killing and the criminal and irresponsible behavior of the Rapid Support, and stressed that it was a clear violation of the right to life of the people of the region, and extrajudicial killing, which constitutes a war crime and a crime against humanity.
The committees added that the incident is an expansion of series of Rapid Support crimes against innocent and defenseless civilians.
The committees confirmed, in an update on the situation yesterday, that the Rapid Support Forces continued to attack most of the villages and cities of Gezira, including Wad Salfab, Al-Wali, Al-Musalmiyya, and Tabat, and that occupied several points in the city of Al-Hasahaisa.
