Hilal Defender Selected in Mauritania National Team

Mauritanian player Al Khadem Diao, Al Hilal’s Sudan defender, commented on his selection as one of the players in the final list for his country’s national team.
Server Diao wrote on his personal page on the social media platform on Tuesday:
“It is a great honor to be on the national team’s list for the African Cup of Nations. This is an important date.”
The left side player of Al Hilal Sudan added: “This is trust from the coach and the staff. I promise you will not be disappointed, God willing. Thank you to this great nation for the prayers and support.”
The Mauritanian national team, nicknamed “Al-Mourabitoun,” arrived at its camp in Ivory Coast and began training in preparation for the African Nations Championship, which begins in early January next year.
