IDPs: Free Surgeries & Medical Check-up

Thousands of people who ran away from active military operations in central Sudan and Khartoum to Port Sudan, are offered a free medical check and a meeting with specialists, within a day organized by a charity, for free to all IDPS.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Travicare Medical, Consultant in Urology and Infertility Surgeries, Dr. Abdul Ati Al-Mannai, announced the organization of a free medical day for those displaced people in the city of Port Sudan who are unable to afford medical treatment fees.
He said that the health day comes in cooperation with the Awad Medical Center offering examinations and free surgical operations for patients.
After the outbreak of the war, Dr. Abdul Ati (Egyptian national) settled in the city of Wad Medani, supporting the Sudanese health team, by steering about 17 medical convoys and performing a number of free surgical operations for the displaced and sick, in cooperation with Al-Shamil Hospital and Gezira University clinics, following the battles that broke out in Wad Medani. He arrived in Sinnar, then Gadarif, where he conducted operations in Gadarif during his crossing until he his current settlement in Port Sudan.
